KG Instructions and Guidelines

The KG has designed the following instructions and guidelines in order to achieve certain academic and educational objectives, mainly:

1.      Students are to attend school regularly according to the school’s hours.

2.      Students are to wear the school’s uniforms daily except when students have PE classes.

3.      Morning duty begins at 7:15 a.m. and afternoon duty ends at 2:30 p.m.

4.      The official school day begins at 8:30 a.m. as the school morning lineup begins.

5.       Parents are to contact the KG Administration in case of any inquiry concerning their children or to deliver any piece of information. Then the KG Administration contacts the concerned teacher and refers back to parents to answer their inquiry.

6.      KG students are to be handed in to the KG reception in the morning and students will be escorted to their classrooms, as children are never left unaccompanied in entrances or corridors.

7.      KG students are handed in personally to their parents and in case someone else will pick them up, the KG Administration should be informed in advance and notified with the person’s name and their relationship to the student and they also should show their ID cards.

8.      Students are not allowed to be sent to the school in case they have any symptoms of an infectious disease and parents are required to take their child to a pediatrician and provide the school with a thorough medical report.

9.      Parents are required to fill in an application provided by the KG and hand it back to the homeroom teacher mentioning any chronic diseases, allergies towards certain kinds of food, diabetes, asthmas, etc.

10.    In case of any medical conditions, accidents or emergencies -Allah forbids- during school’s hours, a student will be taken to the school’s clinic and parents will be contacted.

11.    Unhealthy foods such as potato crisps, candy, sodas or glass bottle-juice are forbidden.

17.    In case of the student’s absence, parents will be contacted emphasizing the importance of the student’s regular attendance to achieve the required academic level. In case of travelling, kindly inform the KG Administration to get the approval in order to compensate the missing classes for the student.
