Coordinators Council
- The Coordinators Council has been established in Mayar International Schools in the second semester 2014/2015.
- Training and Development Department follows-up with the duties and tasks of the Coordinators Council.
- Training and Development Department is supervised by Ms. Majida al araj
Coordinators Council Objectives
1) The Council’s objectives were derived from the school’s educational philosophy and its vision and mission which are mainly concerned with contributing effectively and constructively in raising new generations that believe in the development of its nation.
2) The Council is responsible for administrating the school’s academic affairs.
3) The Council contributes in training the teachers and preparing them seizing their full potentials to make them great holders to the message of education.
Specific Objectives
1) The Council is responsible for ensuring a collaborative approach to work effectively and to evaluate the teachers in all academic departments through:
- The Council is responsible for evaluating the teachers in all the working areas where they prepare forms for following-up and evaluation.
2) The Council is responsible for following-up on the performance of the teachers and providing advice and guidance to them.
3) The Council is responsible for developing the teachers’ potentials to improve their performance in all levels through implementing a variety of training programs that keep pace with the educational development and meet the needs of the teachers.
The Coordinators Council’s General Policy
- Training and Development Department holds a weekly meeting with the council’s members.
- The coordinators hold a weekly meeting for the teachers of each subject.
- The training sessions are hold for the teachers and prepared within the Annual Professional Development Plan.
